About this oil chart
Pravex's WTI is Hyperliquid's CL perpetual and its Brent is the BRENTOIL perpetual, both on Hyperliquid's xyz exchange. They are perpetual markets that track the two crude benchmarks, so they sit close to the crude futures price without being the futures contract itself. The live price is the oracle price Hyperliquid publishes for each one, and the chart is drawn from each market's own candles.
The chart shows the official trading sessions: from Sunday 6:00 p.m. to Friday 5:00 p.m. New York time, with a one-hour pause from 5:00 p.m. each day and shorter days on US holidays. So there are no weekend candles, even though the Hyperliquid markets keep trading. The Max view starts on the day each market opened on Hyperliquid, and the range tile shows that month.

What is the oil price right now?
The live price is at the top of this page, in US dollars a barrel. WTI shows first and the switch above it moves to Brent. It updates while the sessions are open and stands still at weekends.
What is the difference between WTI and Brent?
They are the two main crude oil benchmarks. WTI is US crude, delivered at Cushing, Oklahoma. Brent is crude from the North Sea, and much of the world's oil is priced against it. The gap between them moves with supply and shipping, and the switch on this page lets you look at both.
What is USOIL?
A name many charting sites use for WTI crude. In Pravex the WTI chart is US oil, symbol USOIL, and its price comes from Hyperliquid's CL perpetual. Brent is BRENT, from the BRENTOIL perpetual.
What is the CL perp on Hyperliquid?
CL is the WTI crude perpetual on Hyperliquid's xyz exchange, and BRENTOIL is its Brent one. A perpetual has no expiry date and tracks its benchmark through an oracle price. This page reads that oracle price live, and the chart keeps to the official sessions.
Why does the oil chart have gaps?
Crude futures stop for an hour each day, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. New York time, and from Friday evening to Sunday evening. The chart steps over those hours, the way a broker's chart does.
When is the next EIA crude oil inventory report?
Most weeks on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. New York time. A federal holiday moves it, as Veterans Day does on Thursday 12 November 2026, at 12:00 p.m. The calendar on this page shows the next one on your clock.
