About this Hyperliquid chart
Hyperliquid is a blockchain built around its own order book exchange for perpetuals, the same exchange that supplies every price on this page. Its token, HYPE, launched on 29 November 2024, when 310 million of the 1 billion supply went to early users, with nothing set aside for private investors. HYPE pays gas on HyperEVM, the chain's smart contract side, and is staked to secure the network.
The chart is Hyperliquid's HYPE perpetual in US dollars, three decimals on the price and two on the axis. It has no expiry, and funding settled every hour keeps it near the spot price. HYPE trades every day, so the candles run through weekends.
