About this Chainlink chart
Chainlink is an oracle network: it carries outside data, such as prices, onto blockchains so smart contracts can use it. LINK, a token on Ethereum with a total supply of 1 billion, pays the node operators who deliver that data. Sergey Nazarov and Steve Ellis founded it; the token was sold in September 2017, and the network went live in May 2019.
The chart shows Hyperliquid's LINK perpetual in US dollars, three decimals on the price and two on the axis. A perpetual never expires, and funding settled every hour keeps it near the spot price. LINK trades every day, so the candles have no weekend gaps.
