Legal
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to pravex.app and every page on it, including the Pravex charting app at pravex.app/chart (the "App"), the blog, our email list and the emails we send (together, the "Site"). The Site is run by Pravex, operated by Saurav Wagh, India ("Pravex", "we", "us" or "our").
By using the Site, creating an account or joining our email list, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Risk Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Who may use the Site
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. The Site is not intended for anyone under 18.
1.2 The Site is run from India. We do not claim that the Site or its content is appropriate or lawful in any other country. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and you are responsible for complying with your local laws.
2. Information and opinion only, not advice
2.1 Everything we publish on the Site, in our emails or on our social media accounts, including articles, examples, charts and calculations, and everything the App shows or works out, such as prices, indicators, ratings, Calculator results and Journal statistics ("Content"), is general information, education and the personal opinion of its authors.
2.2 The Content is not financial, investment, trading, tax, legal or other professional advice. It is not a recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy, sell or hold any asset, or to use any exchange, platform, product or strategy. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.
2.3 Using the Site, reading the Content or contacting us does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, agency or any other special relationship between you and us. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we owe you no duty of care in relation to the Content.
2.4 You must not rely on the Content as the basis for any financial decision. Every decision you make is yours alone, and you are solely responsible for it and its results. Do your own research and consult a licensed professional who knows your circumstances.
2.5 The Risk Disclaimer explains these points in more detail.
3. The Pravex app
3.1 The App is a charting tool for crypto markets. It shows prices and charts, runs indicators and drawing tools, rates markets in Technicals, sizes trades in the Calculator and keeps a trade Journal. It does not place trades, hold money or give anyone access to your exchange account, and it never asks for your exchange passwords or API keys.
3.2 Market data comes from third parties. Prices and other market data come from exchanges such as Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid, which your browser contacts directly. We do not create or check that data. It can be late, missing or wrong, it can differ between exchanges, and an exchange can stop serving your country or network. The App may switch to another source without notice, and it names the source it uses on the chart. The exchanges' own terms also apply to their data.
3.3 Calculations are estimates. Indicator values, Technicals ratings, Calculator results (such as position size, margin, liquidation price, fees and profit) and Journal figures are worked out from the data and settings the App has. Exchanges calculate margin, fees and liquidation in their own way and change their rules. Always check the numbers with your exchange before you trade. A rating, signal or result in the App is not a recommendation, and section 2 applies to the App in full.
3.4 Your data in the App. Your layouts, drawings, settings, watchlists, alerts and Journal entries are saved in your browser on your device. If you sign in, they are also synced to your Pravex account (see 3.7). Without an account we hold no copy, so clearing your browser data or switching browser or device can lose them. Export what you want to keep. You are responsible for what you enter or import, and for having the right to use it.
3.5 Alerts. Alerts are checked in your browser, so they only work while the App is open and your device is online, and they can be late or not fire at all. Do not rely on them to manage open positions.
3.6 Price and changes. The App is free to use today. We may change, add or remove features, add limits or paid plans, or stop offering the App, at any time. We will never charge you for anything unless you choose to pay for it.
3.7 Your account. An account is optional. You sign in with a one-time link or code sent to your email, so keep access to that mailbox secure, and use an address that is yours. One account is for one person. Everything done through your account is your responsibility. You can sign out of all browsers, or delete your account and everything synced to it, at any time from the account panel in the App. We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.
3.8 Charts and layouts you share. When you share a chart image or turn on sharing for a layout, we store it and anyone with the link can see it. By sharing, you let us host, copy and show it for that purpose. Do not share anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove shared content at any time. You can stop sharing a layout in Manage layouts; to remove a chart image, email us the link.
3.9 Availability. The App may be unavailable, slow or not work in some countries, networks, browsers or devices. We do not promise any level of availability or that any feature will stay.
3.10 Scripts. The Script editor lets you write indicator scripts, and the App lets you add scripts that other users published. All of them run in your own browser. A script is a tool, not advice (section 2), and what it shows is an estimate (3.3). Another user's script runs only after you add it or allow it, so read what it does first: we do not review users' scripts (section 18). A script that takes too long is stopped.
4. Email updates
4.1 If you join our email list, we may email you about Pravex, new features and product updates. Whether and how often we email is up to us, and we may stop at any time.
4.2 You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by writing to [email protected].
4.3 Only sign up with an email address that belongs to you.
5. Privacy, cookies and analytics
5.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including the browser storage and analytics we use.
5.2 The Site and the App use our own analytics, kept in our own Cloudflare account, and set no analytics cookies. Outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland your browser keeps a random visitor ID; inside them it keeps none, and if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, only error reports are sent. If you sign in, we also keep a record of your account's activity in the App. The Privacy Policy explains all of it.
6. Accuracy and changes to the Site
6.1 The Content may contain errors or omissions, may be incomplete and may become out of date. Markets change quickly. We have no obligation to update, correct or keep available any Content.
6.2 We may change, suspend or remove any part of the Site or the Content at any time, without notice.
7. Third-party content, data and links
7.1 The Site may include or refer to data, prices, charts, statistics, quotes, names, logos and other material from third parties, and may link to third-party websites such as exchanges, central banks and data providers.
7.2 We do not control or verify third-party material or websites, and we are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, content, policies or practices. A link or mention is for convenience only. It is not an endorsement or recommendation and does not mean we have any relationship with that third party.
7.3 You use third-party websites and services at your own risk and under their terms. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners.
8. Our content and how you may use it
8.1 The Content, the design of the Site and the Pravex name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
8.2 You may:
- (a) view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use;
- (b) share links to any page; and
- (c) quote a short extract of up to 100 words from an article, if you credit Pravex and link to the page you quoted.
8.3 Any other use, including republishing, translating, adapting or selling the Content in whole or in substantial part, needs our prior written permission. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
8.4 Open-source software. The App includes open-source software written by other people, such as the editor in the Script editor, some icons and the fonts. Their licences and notices are listed at pravex.app/chart/licenses.txt. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights those licences give you in that software.
9. Acceptable use
9.1 You must not:
- (a) scrape, crawl, copy or download the Site or the Content in bulk, by automated or manual means, except indexing by search engines and similar services that follow our robots.txt file and do not burden the Site;
- (b) use the Content to build a competing product, service or dataset;
- (c) sign up or sign in with an email address that is not yours, submit fake, automated or bulk sign-ups, or otherwise abuse our sign-up and sign-in forms or our email address;
- (d) interfere with, overload, probe, test or attack the Site, its security or its hosting, or try to access any part of it that is not public;
- (e) send or upload malware, spam or unlawful material;
- (f) impersonate us, or suggest an affiliation with or endorsement by us that does not exist;
- (g) use the App to send automated or bulk requests to us or to the exchanges it uses, or copy, resell or redistribute the market data it shows; or
- (h) use the Site in breach of any law or of anyone else's rights.
9.2 If you find a security weakness, report it to [email protected] and do not exploit it.
9.3 We may block or limit access, remove sign-ups and take any other action we consider appropriate, including reporting to the authorities, without notice.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we may use them for any purpose, without any obligation or payment to you.
11. No warranties
The Site, the Content and our emails are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no warranties, conditions or representations of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any about accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement, or that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors or harmful components.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading, investment or other financial loss, for any loss of profit, revenue, income, savings, data, goodwill or opportunity, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage, arising out of or in connection with the Site, the Content, our emails, third-party material or links, or any decision you make, even if we were told that such loss was possible.
12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Site, the Content, our emails or these Terms, whatever the legal basis (including contract, tort, negligence or breach of statutory duty), will not exceed ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees) or its equivalent in your local currency.
12.3 The Site and our emails are free. These limits reflect that, and they are part of the basis on which we offer them.
12.4 These limits also protect our authors, contributors and anyone who helps run the Site.
12.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where the law does not allow an exclusion or limit in full, it applies to the fullest extent the law allows.
13. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pravex, Saurav Wagh and our authors and contributors from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- (a) your breach of these Terms;
- (b) your misuse of the Site or the Content; or
- (c) your breach of any law or of anyone else's rights.
14. Suspension and termination
14.1 We may suspend or end your access to the Site or our emails, remove you from our list, close your account, or stop running the Site or any part of it, at any time and for any reason, without notice or liability. If we stop running the App or close accounts for a reason other than a breach of these Terms, we will try to give you a chance to export your data first.
14.2 You may stop using the Site, unsubscribe or delete your account at any time.
14.3 Sections 2, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.8, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 18 and 19 continue to apply after your use of the Site ends.
15. Changes to these Terms
15.1 We may change these Terms at any time by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. The new version applies from that date, but not to any dispute that arose before it.
15.2 If you continue to use the Site, keep your account or remain on our email list after a change, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Site, delete your account and unsubscribe.
16. Governing law and courts
16.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the Site, the Content or our emails (including non-contractual disputes and claims), are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
16.2 Subject to 16.3, the competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim.
16.3 If you are a consumer living outside India, this choice of law does not take away the protection of mandatory laws of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement, and nothing in these Terms removes any right you cannot waive to bring proceedings in your local courts.
16.4 We may seek urgent or injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our rights, including our intellectual property and the security of the Site.
17. General
17.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Risk Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and replace any earlier statement or understanding about it.
17.2 Severability. If any part of these Terms is found invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent permitted, and to the extent it cannot apply, it is removed. The rest of these Terms remains in full force.
17.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, or delay in doing so, we have not waived it. A waiver is valid only if we give it in writing.
17.4 Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to anyone, including a company set up to run Pravex. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
17.5 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including failures of hosting, network or email providers, cyber attacks, natural events and government action.
17.6 No partnership. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship.
17.7 Third parties. Apart from the people protected by sections 12 and 13, no one else has any right under these Terms.
17.8 Language. These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails.
17.9 Electronic record. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and do not need a physical or digital signature.
17.10 Notices. We may give you notice by posting it on the Site or by emailing the address you gave us, including your account email. Legal notices to us must be sent by email to [email protected]. Messages on social media are not notices.
18. Scripts you publish and things you share
18.1 They stay yours. The scripts you publish in the App, with their titles, descriptions and release notes, and the charts and layouts you share (3.8), are "Your Content". You keep all rights in it.
18.2 What you let us and other users do. By publishing a script you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, show and make it available in the App for as long as it is published, and you let other users run it on their charts. If you publish it as Open source, you also let other users read its code, and copy and adapt it for their own use in the App. If you publish it as Protected or Invite-only, we do not show its code. It still runs in the reader's browser, so someone determined can read it, as the App tells you when you publish.
18.3 What you confirm. Each time you publish or share, you confirm that:
- (a) Your Content is your own work, or you have the right to publish it. Do not publish code, text or images copied from another person, platform or product unless their licence allows it, and keep the notices of any open-source code you build on;
- (b) it was not taken from a protected, invite-only or leaked script, on Pravex or anywhere else;
- (c) it contains no malware, tracking or hidden behaviour, and does not try to attack or mislead users or to collect their data;
- (d) its title and description say what it does, promise no profit, and are not unlawful, abusive or misleading. They do not use another company's name or trademark as if the script came from it, or suggest a link with anyone that does not exist;
- (e) it contains nothing obscene, hateful, harassing, harmful to children or invasive of anyone's privacy, impersonates no one, spreads no false information, and does not promote gambling, money laundering or violence, or threaten public order or the security of any country; and
- (f) publishing it breaks no law that applies to you.
18.4 Selling access. An Invite-only script lets you decide who may use it, and you may charge for that outside Pravex. Any sale is between you and your buyer. We are not a party to it, take no payment, give no refunds and settle no disputes. The taxes and laws that apply to you are yours to follow, including any rules on investment advice and on selling to consumers.
18.5 No review by us. We do not check Your Content before it appears, and we are not responsible for what users publish or share. A script published by a user is that user's work. It is not ours and it is not our advice. When something is reported, a person reads the report and decides. We use no automated moderation.
18.6 Taking content down. You can unpublish a script at any time in the App. We may hide or remove any content, and limit or end the publishing rights or the account of anyone who breaks these Terms, at any time and without notice, where we think that protects users, us or others, or where a law, a court or an authority requires it. When we hide or remove something you published, we tell you why at your account email, unless the law stops us.
18.7 Reporting. To report a script, use Report on its page in the App, or write to [email protected]. The Grievance Officer named in our Privacy Policy (section 11) acknowledges a complaint about content within 24 hours and resolves it within 7 days. For copyright, see section 19.
19. Copyright complaints
19.1 We respect other people's work, and we ask our users to do the same.
19.2 Sending a notice. If you believe something on the Site copies your work without permission, write to [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright". Include:
- (a) your name and contact details, and whose rights you act for if they are not your own;
- (b) the work you say was copied, or a link to it;
- (c) where it is on the Site: the script's name and author, or the link;
- (d) a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the owner, the owner's agent or the law;
- (e) a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner; and
- (f) your signature. Typing your full name is enough.
19.3 What we do with it. When a notice is complete, we remove or hide the content promptly and tell the user who published it. That user may send us a counter-notice if they believe the removal was a mistake. If they do, we pass it on to you, and we may restore the content 10 to 14 business days later unless you tell us that you have gone to court over it.
19.4 Repeat infringers. We end the publishing rights, and where it is called for the account, of users who infringe repeatedly.
19.5 False notices. Someone who knowingly sends a false notice or counter-notice can be liable for the harm it causes. If you are not sure, ask a lawyer first.
