The EIA's weekly crude oil inventory numbers, the Weekly Petroleum Status Report, come out next on Wednesday 4 November at 10:30 a.m. in New York. That is 9:00 p.m. in India, 19:30 in Dubai and 15:30 in London. Below it is on your own clock, with every date to the end of 2026.

US clocks go back on Sunday 1 November and India's stay as they are, so 10:30 a.m. in New York lands an hour later on Indian clocks: 8:00 p.m. IST up to 28 October 2026, then 9:00 p.m. IST. Dubai moves from 18:30 to 19:30, Singapore from 22:30 to 23:30 and Lagos from 15:30 to 16:30.

What the report is
Every week the US Energy Information Administration counts how much crude oil, gasoline and distillate sits in US storage, how hard refineries ran and how much oil came in and went out. The figure most traders look at first is the change in commercial crude stocks from the week before. A fall means more oil left storage than arrived, a rise means the opposite.
Why oil traders watch the minute
When the inventory change lands far from what traders expected, WTI can move quickly in the first minutes after 10:30 a.m. ET. If you hold an oil position, or trade gold or other markets that sometimes react with it, it helps to know the exact time on your own clock, and to have your stop and size settled before then rather than during.

The report follows New York's clock. When the US moves its clocks, the report moves on everyone else's. Up to 28 October 2026 it is 8:00 p.m. in India; from 4 November 2026 it is 9:00 p.m. The card at the top of this page shows the next report on the clock of the device you are reading on.

What time is the EIA crude oil inventory report?
Most weeks the EIA publishes it on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. New York time. The next one is on Wednesday 4 November at 10:30 a.m. ET, which is 9:00 p.m. IST, 15:30 in London and 19:30 in Dubai. When a US federal holiday falls early in the week (Monday to Wednesday), EIA moves it to Thursday at 12:00 p.m. ET; EIA's 2026 schedule lists six such weeks, the last on Thursday 12 November for Veterans Day. Thanksgiving week keeps Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
What time is the EIA report in IST?
8:00 p.m. IST up to 28 October 2026, while the US is on summer time. From 4 November 2026 it is 9:00 p.m. IST, because US clocks go back on 1 November and India's do not change. The 12 November report is at 10:30 p.m. IST.
