Is TradingView Premium worth it? Yes, if you need what Plus does not give you: second-based intervals, volume footprint, Time Price Opportunities (TPO), 8 charts per tab, 25 indicators per chart or 400 alerts that do not expire. No, if the limit you hit is one that a free tool does not have.

We make Pravex (pravex.app), a free charting app. In our view it is the strongest free choice if what you wanted is more charts, more indicators or minute replay on crypto charts. It charts crypto, gold and silver today, and forex and more metals are being added.

In rupees, on 13 October 2026 TradingView's pricing page showed a visitor in India ₹1,295 a month for Essential, ₹2,595 for Plus and ₹5,095 for Premium, paid monthly, and ₹995, ₹2,095 and ₹4,195 a month for the same plans billed annually.

What you get free on Pravex

Pravex is free, with no card and no ads. Where Premium allows 8 charts per tab, Pravex opens up to 16 charts in one layout. Where Premium allows 25 indicators per chart, Pravex has 129 built in with no cap per chart.

On crypto charts you get bar replay on minute candles, the Volume footprint chart type and the Time price opportunity chart type. Older footprint candles are built from candles instead of trades, so they are an estimate. Seconds charts work on Binance-fed charts. You can add your own timeframes. Price and indicator alerts have no cap and fire while Pravex is open.

Who should pay for Premium

Pay for Premium if you trade on second-based intervals. They start on this plan, and so do seconds data in Bar Replay and second-based alerts. Pay for it if you read volume footprint or TPO, which also start here. Used daily, they are worth the price.

It also suits anyone who runs a lot at once. Premium allows 8 charts per tab and 25 indicators per chart, where Plus allows 4 and 10. Its 400 price alerts and 400 technical alerts do not expire, where Plus keeps 100 of each for 2 months. Its replay covers all minute data, where Plus reaches 365 days back on 1-minute data. It shows 20K historical bars on intraday timeframes, against 10K on Plus.

Who should not pay for Premium

Skip it if Plus already does the job. Plus has 4 charts per tab, 10 indicators per chart and 100 alerts of each kind. If you set a few alerts a week, 400 is a lot of room to pay for.

Skip it if you wanted ad-free charts, custom timeframes or Volume Profile indicators. Essential has all three at $14.95 a month paid monthly.

Skip it if you are on Basic, the free plan, and what stops you is 2 indicators per chart or 1 chart per tab, its limits on 13 October 2026. A free tool such as Pravex does not have them.

What a year of Premium costs

Example: say you take Premium. Paid monthly, 12 × $69.95 = $839.40 a year. Billed annually, 12 × $59.95 = $719.40, which is $120.00 less than paying monthly ($839.40 minus $719.40). Plus billed annually is 12 × $29.95 = $359.40, so Premium costs $360.00 more over the year ($719.40 minus $359.40), or $30.00 a month.

Before you pay for a year, know the refund rule. On 13 October 2026 TradingView's pricing page said refunds are for annual plans only and must be asked for within 14 calendar days of payment.

Name the one feature you want, then find its row in the table. Not financial advice. TradingView changes its plans, so read its pricing page before you pay.
