The best free TradingView alternative is the one that removes the limit you keep hitting. For most people that is the third indicator, the second chart or replay on minute candles. In our view the strongest free choice is Pravex (pravex.app), which charts crypto today and is adding forex and metals. We make it, so it is first on this list and you should weigh our ranking with that in mind. Five more tools follow, each with the thing it does best.
We opened each tool's own site on 11 October 2026 and wrote down only what its pages say. Not affiliated with TradingView.
The six, side by side
| Tool | Cost | Strongest at |
|---|---|---|
| Pravex | Free | Our pick. Full charting with no caps (indicators, 16-chart layouts, replay, footprint) for crypto, with forex and metals being added |
| GoCharting | Free plan, with a paid plan above it | Crypto and Indian markets in one place |
| TakeProfit | Free | Alerts that keep running, and writing your own indicators |
| Coinalyze | Free with ads | Futures data: open interest, funding, liquidations |
| aggr.trade | Free and open source | Live trades from many exchanges on one screen |
| ChartingLens | Free plan, with paid plans above it | Stocks, crypto and forex with AI help |
For scale, TradingView's own free plan gives 2 indicators per chart and 1 chart per tab. Its limits and prices are in our post on TradingView Premium.
Example: say all you need is a third indicator and a second chart. On TradingView that means the Essential plan: 12 × $12.95 = $155.40 a year on yearly billing. On the free tools below it costs $0.
1. Pravex, our pick
Pravex is our free charting app, and the one we think is the best choice on this list. It runs in the browser and charts crypto today, with live spot and perpetual markets on public Binance and Bybit data. Forex and metals such as gold and silver are being added.
Here is why we rank it first. There is no cap on indicators per chart, and 129 are built in. A layout holds up to 16 charts, kept in sync by symbol, timeframe or crosshair. Bar replay works on one chart or on the whole layout at once. Volume profile, TPO and volume footprint are included, along with 87 drawing tools and 21 chart types. It works on a phone or as an installed web app. All of that is free, with no card and no ads.
Pick it if you want the whole setup on one screen without counting indicators.
2. GoCharting
GoCharting has a free plan with no cap on built-in indicators per chart, 2 charts per tab, intraday bar replay over 9k bars and paper trading. Footprint charts and custom or second-based timeframes sit on its paid plan, shown from India at ₹1,260 a month on yearly billing.
Its pricing page also lists real-time NSE and MCX data. Pick it if you trade Indian markets next to crypto.
3. TakeProfit
TakeProfit says on its home page that it is free to use. It leads with cloud alerts that never expire and with Indie, its own scripting language, which comes with an AI helper for building indicators.
Pick it if alerts that run while you are away matter most to you, or if you like writing your own indicators.
4. Coinalyze
Coinalyze is built around futures data: open interest, funding rates and liquidations for crypto contracts, each with its own charts. It is free with ads, and it sells an ad-free version.
Use it beside your main chart, to check how the market is positioned before a trade.
5. aggr.trade
aggr.trade is open source under the GPL-3.0 license. It pulls live trades from 16 exchanges, Binance, Bybit and Coinbase among them, into one stream. By its own README it charts trade data only, so it sits beside a charting tool.
Pick it to watch the tape during fast moves, or if open source is your first requirement.
6. ChartingLens
ChartingLens covers stocks, crypto and forex, with AI tools on top. Its free plan allows 3 indicators per chart, 1 chart per layout and 3 alerts. Bar replay, volume profile and custom timeframes start on its paid plans, from $14.99 a month.
Pick it if you want stocks and an AI assistant in the same place as your crypto charts.
How we picked
Each tool had to chart crypto and be free to use today. We also looked at why people leave. In the 56 Reddit posts we found from the past year asking for a TradingView alternative, price was the most common reason by a keyword count (22 posts), followed by bar replay or backtesting (14).
Free plans change. Every figure on this page was read on 11 October 2026, so check the linked pages for today's terms.
If the wall you keep hitting is the indicator cap or the single chart, open a chart on Pravex and build the layout the free plan would not let you build. Not financial advice.
