Line drawing: a shop shutter half raised over a dotted pavement, drawn in white lines: the slats hang from the box at the top and the bar at their foot is lifted halfway, with a blue tag hanging from its handle and blue rings spreading on the pavement under it; the slats it will come down to again are only dotted.

TradingView's own Black Friday page announced no 2026 sale on 19 October 2026. It says its engines are cooling "until the next big countdown" and names no date and no discount.

Last year's page, as archived by the Internet Archive on 21 November 2025, showed up to 80% off plus 1 free month. The sale ran from about 21 November to about 3 December 2025, by our reading of its countdowns.

TradingView's pricing page showed us rupees, so the monthly dollar prices are from its own data and the yearly ones from the page as archived on 19 October 2026, the US view. Totals are our arithmetic.

What the sale looked like last year

The 21 November 2025 copy showed yearly plans at a 13-month price: Essential 30% off at $126.00, Plus 40% at $216.00, Premium 70% at $217.00 and Ultimate 80% at $576.00. TradingView's help centre says the extra month is 30 days, on web purchases only.

On that page Plus and Premium were listed at $33.95 and $67.95 a month, below today's $34.95 and $69.95, so last year's prices are no forecast. TradingView's Promo FAQ says a discount covers one payment, after which the plan renews at the regular price. It also says its sales are local, so offers can differ by country.

Work out which limit blocks you

A discount only helps if the plan lifts the limit that gets in your way, so check which of these four you hit in a normal week.

LimitBasicEssentialPlusPremiumUltimate
Indicators per chart25102550
Charts per tab124816
Active price alerts3201004001,000
Bars of history5K10K10K20K40K

Rows from TradingView's pricing page, 19 October 2026. The paid plans lift all four, up to 16 charts per tab and 1,000 price alerts on Ultimate. Two details change the math. Essential and Plus both list 10K bars of history, so Plus adds no history over Essential. And alerts on indicators and drawings are a separate count that Basic does not include.

Our rule is to pick the cheapest plan that clears the limit you hit most. It breaks when two limits bite at once, and then you need the plan that clears both.

Example: say a sale takes 50% off both yearly plans, a made-up number. Plus drops from $359.40 (12 × $29.95) to $179.70, and Essential from $155.40 (12 × $12.95) to $77.70. The gap halves from $204.00 to $102.00. If 5 indicators and 2 charts are enough for you, you would still pay $102.00 more for limits you never reach.

What the free plan keeps

Basic is free with no time limit and needs no card. It includes bar replay on daily and higher timeframes. Is TradingView free? has the whole list.

What Pravex gives you for free

In our view the strongest free choice is Pravex (pravex.app), and we make it. Where Basic stops at 2 indicators per chart, Pravex has 129 built-in indicators with no cap per chart. Where Basic gives 1 chart per tab, a Pravex layout holds up to 16 charts synced by symbol and timeframe. Price and indicator alerts have no cap and fire while Pravex is open. Bar replay runs on one chart or every chart in a layout, minute candles included on crypto charts, and TradingView lists minute replay on paid plans only.

Pravex charts crypto, gold, silver, oil and US indices today, and more markets are being added. Open a chart and see if those limits are your problem at all. If a paid plan still fits, read TradingView's pricing page again on the day, because the figures here are from 19 October 2026. Not financial advice.
