Yes, TradingView has a free plan, called Basic. The Basic plan has no time limit, and on 19 October 2026 it allowed 2 indicators per chart, 1 chart per tab, 1 saved layout and 3 price alerts, with ads on the charts.

We make Pravex (pravex.app), a free charting app. In our view it is the strongest free choice if these limits are the problem for you. It has 129 built-in indicators with no cap per chart and opens up to 16 charts in one layout. It charts crypto, gold, silver, oil and US indices today, and more markets are being added.

What you get free on Pravex

Pravex is free, with no card and no ads. Where Basic allows 2 indicators per chart, Pravex has 129 built in with no cap per chart. Where Basic allows 1 chart per tab, Pravex opens up to 16 charts in one layout, synced by symbol and timeframe.

Price and indicator alerts have no cap either. They fire while Pravex is open, as a pop-up or a browser notification. Basic has no custom timeframes, but on Pravex you can add your own.

Open a Bitcoin chart and add a third indicator.

What the limits mean on a real chart

Basic is enough if you read one chart with two indicators and keep up to 3 price alerts. It includes bar replay on daily and higher timeframes. The indicator limit is easy to reach, because it is only 2 per chart.

Example: say you want two moving averages and RSI on one Bitcoin chart. That is 3 indicators, and Basic allows 2. The cheapest plan with room is Essential, which allows 5 per chart. Paid monthly it costs 12 × $14.95 = $179.40 a year. Billed yearly it costs 12 × $12.95 = $155.40 a year (our arithmetic), which is $24.00 less and matches the saving the pricing page lists. On Pravex the same chart costs nothing.

Essential adds more than indicators. Ads are removed from the charts, charts per tab go from 1 to 2, saved layouts go from 1 to 5, and custom timeframes are included. Those can be worth the price. If the third indicator is all you want, $155.40 a year is a lot to pay for it in our view, since Pravex has no cap and costs nothing.

Every number on TradingView's pricing page

The table above covers the limits most traders hit first. The "Compare plans" table further down the pricing page lists more, and below is every other row that carries a number, as we read it signed out at 19:27 UTC on 19 October 2026. "Not included" marks a cross on the page, and "Unlimited" marks an infinity sign.

For a free user, two rows stand out. Bar Replay on minute bars is not included on Basic, and an alert on Basic lasts 1 month. Source: TradingView's pricing page, Compare plans table, 19 October 2026, 19:27 UTC.

TradingView's free trial

The pricing page's plan table shows "Try free" over every paid plan and "Sign up" over Basic. It does not say how long a trial lasts. TradingView's Terms say the length may vary by plan, region and platform and is shown at sign-up.

Unless you cancel before it ends, the trial turns into the paid plan you picked and the fee is charged. A trial can be used only once. The pricing page puts "No credit card needed" next to Basic only, and the Terms say that ordering a subscription, a free trial included, lets TradingView charge your payment method automatically.

TradingView's Black Friday page showed no sale on 19 October 2026, and our post on TradingView Black Friday is for readers who prefer to wait for one.

Look at the table and pick the one limit that matters to you. If it is indicators or charts, open Pravex and see if the free chart is enough. If only a paid plan has what you need, that plan is the answer. Plans can change, so read the pricing page again before you pay. Not financial advice.
