What the killzones are
ICT stands for Inner Circle Trader, a trading teacher whose lessons named these windows. They are stretches of New York's clock when London or New York is at work, and many forex chart scripts draw them. The scripts do not all agree. The table uses the set most forex scripts share, plus the two New York sessions index charts often use, 08:30 to 11:00 and 13:30 to 16:00.
How much gold moves in each
We measured every window on Hyperliquid's gold market, in 15 minute candles from 27 August 2026 to 16 October 2026: 37 trading days. The last column of the table is the median distance from high to low inside the window, and its average share of that day's whole range.
The New York killzone moved gold the most, a median $36.1, about 50% of the day, with the New York AM session close behind at $35.5. The London killzone moved $23.9, about 33% of the day. The Silver Bullet hours are one hour each, so they hold less: $12.4, $20.7, $11.8 for London, New York AM and New York PM.
None of this says which way gold will go. It says when it has usually been busy. A US release inside a window, such as the jobs report at 08:30 New York, can move gold more in a minute than the whole window does on a quiet day; the economic calendar counts down to the next one.
When the clocks change
The windows stay put on New York's clock, so they move on yours when New York changes its clocks. In India and the UAE every window moves an hour later from Sunday 1 November, when New York's clocks go back: the London killzone, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. IST until then, runs 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. IST after it. The table and the live list above follow every change.

02:00 to 05:00 New York time. In India that is 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. IST until Saturday 31 October, and 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. IST from Sunday 1 November.
What time is the New York killzone in India?
07:00 to 10:00 New York time: 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. IST until Saturday 31 October, and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. IST from Sunday 1 November. Index charts often use 08:30 to 11:00 New York for the New York AM session instead.
What time is the Silver Bullet in Dubai?
The three Silver Bullet hours are 03:00 to 04:00, 10:00 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 15:00 New York time. On the UAE clock the New York AM one is 18:00 to 19:00 UAE time until Saturday 31 October, and 19:00 to 20:00 UAE time from Sunday 1 November.
Is gold busier in the killzones?
In the New York ones, yes. Over 37 trading days to 16 October 2026, the New York AM session held about 52% of the day's range on average and the London killzone about 33%. That is when gold has been busy, not a signal.
