Two oils, two clocks
WTI, the US crude, trades on CME Globex from Sunday to Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. New York time, with a 60-minute break each day from 5:00 p.m. (CME's WTI contract page). Brent, the North Sea benchmark crude, trades on ICE from 01:00 to 23:00 London time and opens on Sunday at 23:00 (ICE's Brent page).
So WTI keeps New York's clock and Brent keeps London's. The UK and the US change their clocks a week apart, so for that week one oil moves an hour on your clock and the other stays put. The table above shows each side of every change.
Oil in the UK
On UK time, WTI opens on Sunday 22:00 and closes on Friday 21:00, with a daily break, 21:00–22:00. Brent opens on Sunday 23:00 and closes on Friday 23:00; it stops each night, 23:00–01:00. A broker that sells oil as a CFD usually follows these hours, but some take a longer break, so check your platform once.
Example: it is Saturday 31 October, 10:00, and you want to trade WTI. It shut on Friday 21:00. It opens again on Sunday 1 November 23:00, 37 hours later.

The EIA's weekly report on US crude stocks comes out on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. New York time, which is Wednesday 14:30 UK time. See it on your clock on the EIA report page.

What time does oil close in the UK?
WTI closes for the weekend on Friday 21:00 UK time and Brent on Friday 23:00.
Is oil open on weekends?
No. Both shut on Friday and open again on Sunday evening in New York and London. WTI opens on Sunday 22:00 UK time, Brent on Sunday 23:00.
Do oil hours change with daylight saving?
Yes, on any clock that does not change on the same day. WTI keeps New York's clock and Brent keeps London's, so each moves when its own city changes time.
Is WTI open on US holidays?
On most US holidays WTI trades a shorter day, and it is shut on Christmas Day, New Year's Day and Good Friday. The holiday table on this page lists the next ones on this clock, from CME's calendar.
